Further, the module will also examine the current pandemic facing the world: COVID-19.

Public Relations Ethics - APHI132
This course introduces Public Relations students to several of the most important theories in ethics, and to applying these theories to case studies in public relations and the business environment broadly. The purpose of Public Relations Ethics is to equip students will skills in identifying ethical issues within case studies, critically thinking about these ethical issues, applying ethical theories and making well-informed ethical decisions. Material is structured around discussing how theories should be applied to ethical dilemmas, and around thinking about the strengths and short-comings of the various theories in order for the student to determine when it is best to employ each theory. The four central theories discussed and applied, in order, are ubuntu, virtue theory, utilitarianism and deontology.
