Dear UNIZULU Undergraduate student
The University of Zululand is conducting a Library User Survey to learn more about how undergraduate students interact with the university library and writing centre. The study aims to understand how the services provided by the library and writing centre can be enhanced to improve the learning experiences of UNIZULU undergraduate students.

The Archive Unbound catalog include U.S. foreign policy; U.S. civil rights; global affairs and colonial studies; and modern history. Hosing more than 290,000 documents totaling 12 million pages. Individual titles in the collection range between 1,200 and 200,000 pages.

Gale eBooks are designed to cross-search all subjects available on our eBooks collection to pinpoint relevant material. Detailed subject indexing allows users to search content based on subject, title, document type, and more.

The library uses the Open Athens system to authenticate users authorized to access the library’s licensed electronic resources. In order to access most of the UNIZULU Library’s electronic resources – whether on campus or off campus users have to sign-in using Open Athens.

LibGuides is an easy-to-use content management system deployed at thousands of libraries worldwide. Librarians use it to curate knowledge and share information, organize subject specific resources and promote information literacy among students. Each LibGuide has the necessary information on how to: access the library resources, search for the books, search for eResources; get information on the Reference management tools (e.g. Endnote, Mendeley, etc.), Plagiarism and other important topics.
