Welcome to the module Financial Management. This module is an advanced course in financial management. The module assumes prior knowledge on the principles of financial management equivalent to an undergraduate financial management module.  The module provides knowledge and skills relevant to the broad areas of financial management inclusive analysis of financial statements, investment decision making, valuation of financial instruments, short-term financial management and also small business financial management. It covers the major areas of corporate financial management, including capital budgeting, valuation, capital structure and leasing. The course provides access to an array of career choices including inter alia financial management, investment banking, portfolio management, treasury management and quantitative financial analysis.
