Introduction to Law A (2LRI101) is a foundational module in your LL.B degree, the module will introduce you to the basic principles of the law and specifically the South African legal system including the court structure as well as the sources of South African law. We will look at the concept of law, what it is, how it works and the development of South Africa’s hybrid and uncodified legal system as well as the Constitution and the legal profession.
