Lecturer’s Expectations
Advising you to pass this module is necessary but not sufficient. It is like telling a poor person that the only way to get rich is to get rich. The how part is therefore important.
- In this module, the secret to exceling is to attend all lectures and to do all assignments on time.
- Participation in group discussions is key. I am yet to meet a successful person who did so in isolation. As the Zulu statement goes ‘Izandla ziyagezana” if you understand the concept better, share information and help others.
- The examination questions appear to be deceptively simple, but many traps abound. Therefore, in preparation for the examinations, you are required to practice your problem-solving skills using practice questions given in class.
Passing the module without studying will be hard. Not attending classes will make it harder. Successful students practice in time, intelligent students do extra work. Brilliant students do both!
