The main aim of this module is for Social Sciences students to critically engage with multi-perspectivity on topics that are related to Social sciences and Life Skills. The contemporary world is centred on Social sciences and life Skills hence engaging with issues and topics relating to Humanities is of great essence, given the past of South Africa and the world at large. This Module seeks to empower Social Sciences and Life Skill students to confidently engage, add to the body of knowledge and teach with an understanding themes such as Human development, Civilization, Cultural changes, Selfawareness and empathy and political dynamics. At the end of the module the students should have developed a sound knowledge base and sound understanding of theoretical principles of Social Sciences and be able to apply this specific knowledge in context.
