Welcome to the English Education 3B (SP) / English Education 3B (FET). This module serves to provide you as English First Additional Senior and FET Phase pre-service teachers with continued professional development and reflective competences in order to take initiative and responsibility in an academic and professional context.
- In addition, you will be guided to design language assessment tasks and monitor learner progress and achievement in English First Additional Language You will also be engaged in the evaluation of curriculum policies for English First Additional English teaching and acquainted to using ICT in facilitating English First Additional Language. It is, therefore of utmost importance that you utilise all learning opportunities presented in this module in order to become a competent and successful English First Additional Language teacher.
- As a student, you are urged to engage in self-study, participate actively during lectures, read the prescribed and recommended texts and complete all tasks. Class attendance is very imperative.
