The module will provide students with the underlying theory of the different Human Anatomy and Physiology components and processes associated with these topics and to discuss Clinical and Pathological concepts related to these topics. Students should understand and be able to apply the practical aspects of the different Human Anatomy and Physiology topics.

Dear students,

I have decided to extend another word of welcome to all who started attending today. If we can keep attending classes regularly, I am sure we can make a huge difference to the pass rate for 4ZOL122.

There are a few announcements I would like to make

1. Attendance register

As from Wednesday, 17 July, we are going to make use of Moodle to mark the register. Please make sure that you have your phone with you as it is the tool used for that. We will spend a few hours before class to mark it. That again stresses the importance of arriving in time so that you are not marked absent.

2. Lectures

Lectures are presented at SC101 on Monday ,08.30, Wednesday, 07.30 and Thursday, 09.30. We will attend an assessment system of on line test every two weeks over and above the normal test be term that you are required to write. This will force you to be in constant contact with the coarse information and may also assist with minimal contribution in the PD  mark.

3. Practicals

Due to obvious ethical considerations, there will be no contact or physical practicals for the chapter on blood. There are videos on Moodle which you are supposed to watch. This will be followed by the completion of the quizzes which will be followed as from this week.

Students who are repeating the course and who passed the practical section last year are urged to APPLY at K203 ZOOLOGY Building for exemption. There is no blanket exemption so if you do not apply you may not have a practical mark at the end of the semester.

For this week, three videos are available for Practical 1.
