Welcome to the Animal Breeding module, Level 3. This module entails or serves to;
- Explain the selective breeding of farm animals with the aim to improve the desired trait qualities in the next generation.
- Animal breeding is offered at this level (level 3) to give students knowledge on genetic evaluation of farm animals and how genetic material is transferred from parents to offspring.
-The prerequisites for this course are SAAS 211 and SAAS 212.
