This module will provide students with a basic understanding of numerical groundwater flow. Students will be exposed to the equations used in surface/groundwater models, practically apply/work by conducting a pump test, modelling the flow and storage equations and analysing for aquifer properties.
On completion of this module students will be able to combine and apply all knowledge they have gained in to develop conceptual models, basic numerical models and be able to assess surface/groundwater models.
