-          Draw strategic logistics plans for a small to medium organisation

-          Distinguish between push, pull and push-pull product supply system

-          Analyse value drivers in logistics and supply chain management

-          Distinguish between qualitative and quantitative forecasting

-          Understand supply chain design and links to network integration

-          Distinguish between operations and strategy

-          Discuss the strategic role of procurement within a business

-          Discuss the importance of inventory and its links to total cost and customer service.
